The Mini-Poser

I’m all for cute kids in cute clothes (as long as they’re someone else’s kids, of course), but there is something painfully affected about this J.Crew ad. It’s the loosened tie (hard day at the playground, Jimmy?), the popped collar, and the single buttoned button. Whatever happened to Transformers t-shirts and miniature cargo shorts? This kid needs to spend some quality time with dirt and a merry-go-round.

For a much less disturbing take on kids and style, check in with The Sartorialist. This childless fashion philosopher thinks his opinion is spot on.
