Friday Four

I’m listening to Brendan Benson’s “A Whole Lot Better

I’m reading this brilliant article by Elizabeth Weil and smiling and nodding. San Francisco is where I belong, but I will never dress like it.

I’m craving Valium. Oh how I wish the anxiety attacks would disappear.

I’m coveting this Loeffler Randall dress and sunshine.

Sweet, sweet valium. Sigh. Have a couple shots of vodka. Does the same thing.

Some day when I win the lottery, I’m going to beg and scream for you to be my personal shopper. You have fabulous taste!

Why thank you!! I’ve always sort of dreamed of being a personal shopper.

Both the dress and the sunshine are completely covet-worthy. It was sunny here this morning but now it’s cloudy and they’re calling for rain or snow. Ugh.

We keep getting gorgeous weekends and rain all week. My parents who live in farm country remind me that we still need to raise the water table, but I’m sick of rain!

I just got a script for Xanax for my anxiety. I can’t believe I suffered so long.

I think I’ve solved mine by having a very honest conversation with someone who is about 10 times more emotionally mature than I am.
